Engineers from Amazing Drones, a member of the Brave1 defense cluster, have unveiled their latest innovation — the Hummel reusable bomber drone, which is already actively used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the front lines. The announcement was made by Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, on his official page.
Technical Specifications and Key Features of the Hummel Drone
The Hummel UAV can carry a payload of up to 2 kg and travel distances of up to 20 kilometers. This capability allows for the efficient delivery of munitions and other supplies under combat conditions, while maintaining control and flight accuracy.
Particular attention was paid to the drone’s non-standard control frequencies, which reduce the risk of signal interception by enemy forces. Additionally, the device features a reinforced frame and special landing legs, enabling safe and soft landings after completing its missions.
Verified by the Ministry of Defense and Recommended for NATO Codification
The new drone has already passed the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s technical commission, confirming its compliance with the operational standards of modern warfare. It has been recommended for NATO codification, paving the way for broader deployment within both the Ukrainian Armed Forces and allied military units.

The development team is not stopping with the bomber drone. Currently under development are coptery-type reconnaissance drones capable of collecting and processing battlefield data in real time using artificial intelligence. A standout feature will be automated target tracking, allowing the drone to complete missions even if it loses control or communication with the operator.
These innovations dramatically increase the effectiveness of drone-based intelligence gathering and fire adjustment, providing critical data without endangering personnel.
