Meeting of Oleh Syniehubov with Representatives of Innovative Businesses from Kharkiv IT Cluster

Kharkiv IT Cluster is actively involved in the strategic initiative Defence Community, which unites technology companies, engineers, and manufacturers of various solutions for defense needs. The initiative aims to establish effective cooperation between innovative businesses and military structures.

Currently, over 20 manufacturers have already joined the Defence Community, developing and supplying innovative solutions for the front lines. More than 100 technological developments created by community members are already being used in combat conditions.

During a meeting between representatives of Kharkiv IT Cluster and the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, several key areas of cooperation were discussed, including:

• improving communication systems for the military,

• countering enemy UAVs,

• strengthening air defense,

• optimizing the codification process for defense products.

The creation of a specialized working group was also discussed. This group would facilitate rapid data exchange and coordination between manufacturers and military units, ensuring a timely response to frontline needs and improving the overall effectiveness of joint efforts.

Despite the challenges of wartime, businesses in the Kharkiv region continue not only to support the local economy but also to actively contribute to national defense. In particular, nearly UAH 200 million has been allocated toward the development of local electronic warfare (EW) systems.

Kharkiv IT Cluster will continue to unite technology companies to work together on the safety and protection of the country.
